You see that photo above these words? I wouldn't have believed in a million years that I would grow into that beautiful, confident woman. I had Jheri curls, Coca-Cola bottle glasses, no confidence, and I certainly didn't like being in front of the camera. I was this little girl.
Just like I finally got in front of a camera, my work is to get you to be in front of mine. Your transformation from feeling unseen and unworthy into being comfortable in your skin is why I am a photographer today. My goal is for you to know that you are perfectly fine exactly the way you are at this moment.
I do these sessions so that you can see yourself for the first time.
Since we're about to meet, let me share that I'm a South Carolina woman. Born and bred. I live in Winnsboro with my husband and son. Family is everything to me. Every night I tell my son I love him because he needs to grow up knowing unconditional love.
I lost count of how many times I've watched Imitation of Life. Maybe a zillion times? Both color or black and white, it's an incredible movie.
Breakfast if my favorite food, I can eat it any time of day. Breakfast for dinner is the best!
You'll often find me working out, traveling, eating, eating and eating some more.

Speaking of zillions, I've probably listened to Lauryn Hill's "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" almost as many times as I've watched A Christmas Story.

I can't swim but I've gone whitewater rafting 3 times. My favorite rafting trip was the French Broad River. Don't forget, lifejackets save lives!

My all-time favorite movie is A Christmas Story. I've watched it more than a zillion times and I have it on DVD, Blu-Ray and digitally.

You'll never see me eating whole or sliced tomatoes. Yuck! But, pass the ketchup and pasta sauce.
